Transferring old site to a new domain?

  Hi there, I have two domains and was thinking of switching this year to the second. I have been using the first for a WordPress site and am curious if there is a simple(ish) way to migrate the current site to the new domain (sort of like ‘pointing’ the new URL to the old site).

  If you’d like to use a different domain for your website, you’ll need to connect the second domain by following the instructions provided in this support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  Once you’ve successfully connected the new domain, you can proceed to change your primary domain from your current one to the new domain. The steps for doing this can be found in the support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-domain/#setting-the-primary-domain
