Transferring or Mapping a Domain Name

    Hello,

    I have just purchased the domain name baobabguy.com, and I am interested in either transferring or mapping this name into a wordpress site. How can I go about doing so without having to add ‘wordpress.com’ or a similar extension to my domain name? I am totally new to this whole bit, so I hope my question make sense. I basically want to be able to tell people to type in ‘baobabguy.com’ and find my site. Can I achieve this using wordpress?

    Hi there,

    You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to transfer in a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or transfer/map one you already own.
