Transferring our live site to a new wordpress website

We own yaim.org and it is a live site, but the PHP is out of date and will be coming to end soon. May I make a new WordPress site with our ‘live’ domain name? Thanks so much!

As for the right answer for you, we have two ways you can use a domain you already own with a site here at WordPress.com:
Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
A transfer would allow you to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
