Transferring Ownership of a Domain/Site

    Hello,

    This account was set-up to accept ownership of a site/domain currently run through someone else’s WordPress Account. That Account has a starter plan. We have tried following these instructions:

    https://wordpress.com/support/transfer-a-site/

    however, although I do receive an e-mail from WordPress telling me there is a pending transfer of a site. When I click the link in the e-mail that should allow me to accept this transfer, I see this error message:

    ‘The requested invite was not found.’

    Does anyone know how to resolve this? I did wonder if it is because this account does not have a starter plan (like the account currently running the site)?

    Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

    The “Blog I need help” with above is not correct. I am seeking help with a separate site with its own domain name. Not a WordPress sub-domain.
