Transferring Plan Ownership of Jetpack

    Hello, I have Jetpack installed on a site for a client and I am trying to connect credit card information to his Worpdress.com account for the Woocommerce shipping extension. When he is logged into the back end of the site and goes to his WordPress.com site, he is not connected to that site in WordPress.com. He is using the same email address for both sets of credentials. Can anyone help with a solution to getting his WordPress.com credentials linked to his credentials to log into the website?

    You would need to reach out to Jetpack support here: https://jetpackme.wordpress.com/contact-support/ so that they are able to locate the Jetpack account and look to transfer credentials.

    Thanks! I currently have ownership of the Jetpack account and I’m looking to transfer it to him. However, when he’s logged into his WordPress.com account, whitebarnbrands.com isn’t listed as one of his sites, even though I created an admin account for him. When I go into my settings to transfer the ownership, he isn’t listed there. For some reason, his WordPress.com account isn’t linked to the site.

    We are not able to walk you through the process (we do not specialize in Jetpack support here on our WordPress.com forums) but you may wish to invite them as an administrator here, which is something that Jetpack will recognize: https://wordpress.com/people/new/grasoncrabtreevo.com

    You can invite them by their WordPress.com account username or email, which may not be the same as what is used for their grasoncrabtreevo.com site login since it’s a separate system.

    Once the accept the invite you send, you should be able to complete the steps here, and see them in the dropdown: https://jetpack.com/support/transfer-your-jetpack-connection-or-plan-to-another-user/

    If that does not help, we don’t have anything else we can think to try, so please contact Jetpack support and they will be able to assist you directly: https://jetpackme.wordpress.com/contact-support/
