Can you import a post from another wordpress blog to another?
I administrate a series of wordpress blogs for my classes. a number of students have posted their work on the wrong blog. Can we transfer or import their posts from the wrong blog to the right one?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes you can export the Posts then import them into the correct blog

don’t transfer everything, you can sort I think by Author, Category etc. the worst you will need to do is make a new Category to sort the wayward Posts by (maybe Transfer then tag the Posts with that Category and just export that Category) – you will need to go back and delete the posts from the original blog, but make sure everything transfers OK before the delete
