Transferring Premium theme to new host

I am looking into purchasing the premium theme called “port” but I wanted to know once purchased if there is any way to transfer for it to a different host?
I already have a domain and server space set up with 1and1.com, so I wanted to build my word press site there but using the port theme?
Is this possible and if so is there anything important I need to know about the process?

From the Premium Theme support document:
Note: Premium Themes that are licensed for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Some Automattic-developed premium themes can be transferred to a self-hosted site at no charge, as part of a Guided Transfer. Please post in the premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies.
Well the Catch-22 here is that in order to post into the Premium Themes forum, you have to buy the theme first.

At the moment, Port is not available for transfer, but can be purchased for self-hosted blogs at http://themetrust.com/themes/port

@macmanx-what of the Catch-22 in the Support doc I mentioned earlier? Maybe that line:
Please post in the premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies
needs a rethink since you can’t post in the Premium theme forum unless you’ve bought a premium theme. I can hardly see someone buying the theme just to ask the question. :)

Yeah, I’ve passed it off to the people who brainstorm such things. I don’t think anyone anticipated this as a pre-sales question, more of a later on “I think I want to leave” question. :)
