Transferring site from one provider to WordPress

    We want to change over our hosting site to WordPress. However, I do not want to have any down time on it until I have a new landing page ready. I need to know if this is possible.

    Hi! You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can connect or transfer the domain.
