transferring site to paid domain?

  I have a custom domain hosted through GoDaddy, with WordPress installed on it, and I also have the wordpress.com site I built. Does anyone know whether I can somehow combine these two…? Port the wordpress.com over to my custom domain, since they’re both WordPress?

  Hi there,

  You can export your posts and pages from the one site, and import it to the other:

  https://wordpress.com/en/support/export/

  https://wordpress.com/en/support/import/import-a-sites-content/

  But the sites themselves will remain separate – they’ve both built using the WordPress software, but they’re at different hosting providers.
