Transferring sites

    Hi , I have a site I wish to bring over, however hosting is paid up to Aug so I would like to build one with WordPress , use a Sonaar template as I am a musician but not disrupt the current site until the new one is ready to go live. I am currently hosted with Weebly and use their template and the domain name was purchased from Go Daddy. Please advise how I do this.

    Hi Jennifer, no problem. You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:

    Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain and point it to our servers. You’ll have support to help with that when you’re ready.
