Transferring Stats from .com blog to self-hosted Jetpack enabled blog
-
I used wordpress.com to create my science blog, Maddyz Physics, after some nine months I moved to wordpress.org self hosted blog and it is connected with Jetpack. I have managed to migrate subscribers and followers from my old blog to the new one, but, I also want to transfer all the stats (including all the traffic) from my old blog – maddyzphysics.wordpress.com
to the new one – maddyzphysics.comI heard that a ‘Happy Engineer’ do that.
Please Help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@madhursorout we can migrate stats from one domain to another, but not from one post URL to another. Sorry about that.
For what it’s worth, if I were migrating sites, I’d do this:
– Keep the same URL structure
– Use the Site Redirect upgrade to redirect my .wordpress.com site to the new address, so I don’t lose SEO rank. Or, at the very least, make the old site private so I don’t get penalized for duplicate content.
You can make the site private at WordPress.com > My Sites > Settings
or you can get the redirect upgrade here: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/

Thanks for your reply.
I saw that not all views are moved to maddyzphysics.com
some 1987 views are stilll on maddyzphysics.wordpress.comI want to ask one more thing, if I can move views from one url to another within my website?

Hi –
Where exactly do you see the 1987 views on maddyzphysics.wordpress.com? Please grab a screen shot or share a link.
I’ve taken a look at the site and didn’t see that number on the stats page. I ran the merge again just to be sure everything merged together.
