Transferring Stats from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

However, please note that stats migration will only work perfectly if your post ID’s match between your WordPress.com site and your new self hosted site. If the IDs do not match, a single post will end up as two different posts in your stats. One will be the stats for the old ID and one the new. The stats cannot be combined unless the IDs are the same.
However, even if they aren’t the same, the overall site-wide traffic numbers will be the same. So it is only worth going and fixing if you absolutely need each post to have a completely accurate stats page.
Please confirm that you understand this.

Yes rootjosh, I understand that. I want them merged more for overall numbers than specific posts anyway, so that won’t be a problem.
