Transferring subscribers from wordpress.org to wordpress.com
-
I just purchased a self-hosted blog on WordPress.org. I would like to transfer my subscribers (followers) from WordPress.com to WordPress.org. If possible, I’d like to move both my email subcribers and wordpress.com subscribers. How can I do that? The blogs are http://www.glutenfreehungrygirl.wordpress.com and http://www.glutenfreehungrygirl.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have migrated your subscribers and followers to your new site.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Thank you staff-ozmodiar.
However, my old blog says that I had 524 followers by email still left? And my new blog says I have 44? What is going on with that…

The follower number on your front page (524) includes followers via Facebook and/or Twitter as well as email or WordPress.com followers. However, we have no way of migrating social media followers. However, once you connect your new site to your social media accounts, one would assume that the followers would still be there. Customer support for the social network(s) in question should be able to help you if you have trouble.
