Transferring subscribers to another wordpress blog

    Hi,

    I have nearly reached the limit of my media on my blog. I was considering whether to start a new blog and transfer subscribers or to upgrade. Can someone suggest how it can be done to transfer subscribers please? I have searched a few times but it hasn’t been completely clear.

    Hi jenhayward,

    I was considering whether to start a new blog and transfer subscribers or to upgrade.

    Extra storage space is available through paid plans. The Free plan you are using includes 3GB but upgrading to Personal would give you 6GB — storage space for each plan can be compared on the pricing page I linked to.

    We can transfer subscribers between WordPress.com sites (this is only something staff can do), so that could be an option of you wanted to start a second site. The new site would function independently from astampingjourney.wordpress.com so you may want to cross-link the two. Upgrading would mean you could continue using the same site though.

    I noticed there are a number of images 2MB in size — this is quite large for the web. We have some tips for image optimisation which may hep you get the most out of your storage space:
