transferring to self hosted site

So I want to transfer to a self hosted site, I am going to cancel my premium upgrade I was also wondering if I need to cancel the domain I am paying for as well (13$ a month for the .com) Or do I need that for my self hosted sight

If you’d like to use jenessasheffield.com on your self-hosted site, you should not cancel it.
Canceling can cause many problems, such as the inability to ever gain ownership of your domain again.
I recommend either leaving it here, and mapping it to your self-hosted site, or transferring the domain to your new host.
