Transferring to WordPress.com

  Hello, I purchased a domain through Bluehost and am trying to switch it from WordPress.org to WordPress.com now that I understand that I purchased the wrong one. Bluehost is helping me set the domain up to have it transferred, but I was told to contact the gaining registrar to have it completed. Can you help me?

  Hi there!

  To use a domain you already own with your WordPress.com site you can either map it (it will stay with your current registrar but will point to your WordPress.com site) or transfer it (WordPress.com will be your new registrar).
