Transferring to WP

    We already own our domain and currently have a company hosting our site. However, they are now charging for any changes we need, in addition to the yearly hosting fees. I want to know more about the pricing and accessibility/support using WP directly. Thanks!

    Hi @paarmelis, I’m glad you asked.

    The services we provide at WordPress.com include hosting, SSL, security, WordPress support, and software updates. We include support for all of our built-in features as well.

    You would still be responsible for maintaining the content and look and feel of your site, however you’ll have our support if you have questions about the process.

    If you’re wanting to hire a contractor to make design or content changes to your site for you, generally we’ll recommend a service like UpWork.com.
