Transferring troubles

  I am trying to transfer to a self-hosted wordpress page and I thought it was unlocked and ready to transfer but I want to be sure.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi opheliaflower,

  Do you mean you are trying to export your content to a WordPress.org self-hosted site and are running into trouble, you are trying to point your domain to a new site, or you are trying to transfer your domain registration to a new registrar?

  Could you be more specific as to where you are having problems with the process as well?

  I am trying to point my domain to a new site, but currently it says the domain is locked. I went through the process to unlock the domain, so I am wondering why I can’t transfer it?

  It is now saying I need an EPP code to finish the transfer. How do I obtain that?

  Hi again,

  As you go through the process of transferring your domains, you will be able to send an authorization/EPP code to yourself via email. You will then use that at your new domain registrar to complete the transfer.
