Transferring Tumblr to WordPress

  I am want to transfer my blog from Tumblr to WordPresss, I know how to do this. However, whilst I’m transferring will the Tumblr blog become inactive and loose all it’s posts? I want my followers to stay on the Tumblr blog until I perfect the wordpress one.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  By importing your content to WordPress.com, we will pull your content over from Tumbler and effectively duplicate it. Nothing will be altered in any way on your Tumbler site, so you can indeed continue to use your Tumblr site until you’re ready to switch over.
