Transferring .uk domain

  How come you do not allow transferring of .uk domains?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  .uk domains don’t follow the standard process for transferring between domain providers, and we don’t currently have the technical capabilities to meet the special requirements for transferring a .uk domain to WordPress.com.

  So if you already have a .uk domain registered somewhere else, you’ll need to leave it registered at the current provider, and connect it to your WordPress.com site using the domain mapping upgrade included in our paid plans instead.
