Transferring Upgrades

  I do not wish to continue with this blog, instead I have another account thecubecoach.wordpress.com. I am wondering if i can use this $99 upgrade for my other account instead of this one. I also have purchased cutehd.com but would like to change it or at least purchase the domain to thecubecoach.com and add premium to that account. I would not like to pay another $99 when I feel like you could easily apply the remaining balance of my upgrade to thecubecoach.wordpress.com.

  Hey Jay – You can transfer upgrades to other sites, but only sites that are owned or administrated by the user account that purchased the upgrade.

  Since you have separate user accounts for the two different blogs cutehd.wordpress.com and thecubecoach.wordpress.com, right now you can’t transfer Premium from one to the other.

  But there’s an easy fix. Just log in to thecubecoach.wordpress.com and add the user cutehd as a contributor. Here’s how: http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

  Then log back in as cutehd and go to the blog’s Dahsboard under Store > My Upgrades. Next to WordPress.com Premium, you should see a link that says “Transfer to another site.”

  You’ve used the domain credit included in WordPress.com Premium to register cutehd.com and after 48 hours we can’t take it back or offer a refund. But you can purchase and register thecubecoach.com on your second site.
