Transferring URL registration to WordPress

  Okay, so I have a wordpress.com hosted blog (one of the free ones) and I registered my URL at another web hosting company.

  This has worked fine, but I have since registered another URL for another blog, and I did that through the wordpress.com website. As it turns out, this was a lot easier to do that the first URL I registered (and the cost was about the same).

  So, now I would like to get my first URL that is registered on another site, over at WordPress.com. This would make my URLs a lot easier to manage as they would be in the same place.

  Is there a way to have my URL transferred to WordPress so that it is registered via wordpress and not some other company??

  WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers however you can map to an existing domain from a free hosted WordPress.com blog. See here > http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
