transferring versus mapping domain

  I’m not ready to do this yet. I just wanted to play with WordPress a bit before I make my decision. My website is powered by Squarespace, my domain, mayyoubewell.com, is connected by 3rd party (GoDaddy) to Squarespace. I must be missing something because I would think there’s a way to try out WordPress, without transferring/mapping domain initially before I’m sure about it.

  This is WordPress.com. Sites can be hosted here; even free ones with wordpress.com subdomain addresses. You could create a free site here to experiment that has no connection with your domain at all.
