Transferring Websites to WordPress

  Hello! I am new to blogging and have been trying so hard to set mine up the last couple days…very tiring! I had a question about transferring my domain name onto WordPress. I have already purchased a domain name through Bluehost, but it is asking for a fee of $18 to transfer. Is this something that is required? I am positive it is required, just not sure why they are having me pay a fee… Also it says that new members have to wait to transfer? Do I need to wait seeing as that I just created the blog a couple days ago? Help! Im doing the best I can, I just need help!

  You can’t transfer a domain anywhere until you have owned it for at least 60 days. If you wish to use a domain purchased at BlueHost with a site at WordPress.com you’ll need to buy a Personal plan or higher and then you can map it here immediately.
