Transferring wordpress blog into a website

    I would like to set up a website. I currently have a free wordpress blog which I use. Is it possible to transfer this setup, layout and current data across to a website? I understand I would need to buy a domain name, and would I need hosting as well? Not sure where to go from here. Thanks so much.
