Transferring WordPress blog to a new service

  Hello,
  My wordpress blog (www.MarshLatin.wordpress.com) has been suspended. I am not sure why. I am hoping to have it reinstated. However, if not I would like to transfer the content to another web service. I have downloaded the .xml files but do not know what to do from there. Is there an easier way to transfer the content to another service?

  You will need to purchase hosting elsewhere, such as at Bluehost or GoDaddy, and then you can install a self hosted instance of WordPress there and migrate your content to your new site. For step by step instructions on finding hosting and migrating your site to a new host, please visit:

  I think it was just a mistake while WP pulled out the advertisements, take a look:

  @amarsh2 just so we’re all on the same page, which site was suspended? The one you mentioned here isn’t suspended.
