Transferring WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  I just purchased a domain and hosting from Go Daddy to transfer my wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org. When I log in via Go Daddy or WordPress.org, it automatically transfers me back to WordPress.com. How can I change this, and edit my blog through WordPress.org?

  Actually I think I’ve figured it out – but I have another related question. How can I direct http://fashionablylight.wordpress.com to the http://fashionablylight.com? Will I have to pay a mapping fee?

  You can automatically redirect visitors of http://fashionablylight.wordpress.com to your http://fashionablylight.com site with the Site Redirect upgrade:
