Transferring wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  I’m trying to transfer mywordpress.com blog to wordpress.org so that I have more freedom for customization. I signed up for bluehost, but have no idea how to do any of this on my own. I registered for wordpress beginner, and it seemed like they would transfer everything for me for free. Is that correct?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,
  I am not sure about WordPress beginner as such. Is it a plan offered by Blue host? However, you can do the transfer of your blog all by yourself by following the instructions from here. The instructions might seem intimidating initially, but don’t worry that the instructions are very clear and simple. As long as you follow them correctly, you will be able to move your blog with out any issues.
  Do give it a try and you will be able to do the transfer.
  If you are unable to do it then please do use the paid guided transfer to let the support staff take care of that for you.
