transferring WP site to new host

  I am trying to transfer my site from one hosting co. to another and to that end have downloaded the MySQL and the WP files to my computer. When trying to upload them from my computer to the new host company’s server for the new data base I get 1062 and 1510 MySQL errors right of the bat. They are in response to spam that I haven’t removed from the site. Any ideas? Thanks
