Transfert old domain name

  Hi,

  I bought a premium subcription in wordpress.com with a domain name (missionjeuxvideo.fr). Unfortunately, this solution was not for me and I canceled this subscription. I bought a transfer on gandi.net but I cannot find the authorization code in my wordpress account.

  How could I do to transfer my old domain name ?

  Dostate,

  If you purchased your domain from WordPress.com less than 60 days ago, you must wait until you reach the end of the 60 day waiting period before the domain can be transferred to the new registrar. For more information refer to the support document below.

  Hi there,

  When you cancelled that domain, you stopped owning it. You can’t transfer something you don’t own.

  If you still want to use that domain we can restore it to your account, but as you’ve already been refunded for your payment, you’ll need to pay for it again before we can do that.

  Please confirm, and then I’ll send you a link you can use to pay for the domain again.

  Once it’s restored we can help you point it to the hosting provider where you want to use it, but you won’t be able to transfer it away from us until you’ve owned it for at least 60 days.

  As @kokkieh mentioned, we can send a payment request and restore the domain back to your account — I just wanted to make sure you saw that option. The domain can be pointed to another host until it is ready for transfer after 60 days.
