Transit of URL from Godaddy

  I already have the URL Turquoise-Bear.com registered with Godaddy.com. User searches for that URL are relayed to turquoisebearaz.wordpress.com. Is it possible to bypass Godaddy and use Turquoise-Bear.com directly with WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s definitely possible — in the admin panel of turquoisebearaz.wordpress.com, go to Store – Store and check the Mapping option for more details.

  Or go directly here: https://turquoisebearaz.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&ref=store-wp-admin and select “Map a domain you already own”.

  I own the domains http://www.womeninnewark.com and http://www.womeninnewark.co.uk and, as WordPress doesn’t accept transfers in, I am thinking of mapping one (or both) to my WordPress blog http://womeninnewark.wordpress.com/

  If I do this, will I be able to make one of them the primary domain on the WordPress blog so that for example anyone putting in http://www.womeninnewark.com will see this as the site’s address? Or will my primary domain still be http://womeninnewark.wordpress.com/ ??
