Translating a website and creating Language Buttons

  Hi WordPress Community

  I want to create this site youkiarima.wordpress.com into Japanese.

  How do I create an entire new translated website and create the easy-accessible Language buttons for English and Japanese?

  You are describing a bilingual theme but we do not have such themes at WordPress.com. We can set only one interface language for our WordPress.com blogs here > Settings > General

  You can have 2 blogs in 2 different languages, of course, but we have don’t support automatic translations between them.

  You’d need to write a blog post in the two languages and then post to each blog (or post the two versions of the entry on the same blog, make each language category, create a custom menu and add the categories pages to it).

  Also if you don’t mind helping me with another thing…..

  I do not want my contact information to show up in the field boxes.

  How do I have the field boxes blank?

  There is comment form available at the end of each post your WordPress blog and some blogs also have a contact form. After the form is completed and submitted, the name and e-mail address of the person making the comment will appear and remain visible to them until they log-out. WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of commenters so if someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each other’s details. Log out and clear your browser cache and cookies and it’s gone.

  The blog you point to (thepatternedplate) is a blog using Imbalance 2 that has a custom design upgrade and the blogger used CSS editing to add the header image.

Before you post it please read the Imbalance 2 forum threads so you understand how that theme is coded to operate.

  Imbalance 2 offers two layout options, fluid and fixed.
  Fluid means the width changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
  Fixed means the width does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

  Column one is the blog title and tagline; you edit them in Settings > General.
  Columns two and three are for two menus; you create and load them in Appearance > Menus – instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
  Column four is for widgets; you add them in Appearance > Widgets.

  When you activate a new theme there is a default display that aren’t actual widgets. You go here > Appearance > Widgets and choose the ones you want to display. When you do that the deafult sidplay vis overridden and disappears.
