translating my site: plugin or duplication?
-
Hi
I have a commercial wordpress site, and I’m trying to figure out the best solution to translate it. The press has for now regular pages, and a blog.
If I understood correctly, I can either duplicate the site, or use a translation plugin.
I like more the plugin solution, but it seems that it poses referencement problems (with qTranslate), and that it might slow down the site.
Do you have any experience with either of these solutions? What would you recommend?
Thanks

Hi there. What is the URL of your site?
If you have a WordPress.com site, then plugins aren’t an option, as we can’t use them here. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
If you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site, then this isn’t the best place for advice. We can only help with WordPress.com sites in this forum. WordPress.org has its own forum for self-hosted sites. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
In that case, please visit the WordPress.org support forum for assistance: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
