Hi timethief and thanks so much for the speedy reply. I saw Google Translate in the widget section and clicked on it and also on + and “done”. However, I do not see it as added. I maintain a free site since 2010.

Let’s ask Staff to assist you with sorting this out. I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi there,
I can see the Google Translate widget at the bottom of your site’s sidebar. If you still don’t see it, please try clearing your browser cache, and also make sure your browser is not blocking JavaScript, as that would prevent this widget from working. Ad-blocker extensions in the browser can also do this.

Hello Kokkieh,
Thanks so much for all this help from the staff in this forum. Yes, I see it and it works, eh voila! hahaha It has also “adjusted” my sidebar preferences so I’ll have to spend some time on that. My site is far from heavily travelled, so it may be a winter’s work project. hahaha ~ John
