Translation of Continue reading -link does not show on certain themes

  Why does’t the translation of Continue reading -link show on some themes and how to correct this? I mean now the link that comes to blog’s front page when using the <!–more–> -marker (and in some themes even without the marker). I am using finnish in my sites. At some templates it does show nicely in finnish but some have the Continue reading -text (for instance the Oslo Theme and Lovecraft have this wrong). When trying the in-page translator, it shows that the link is translated and even the translation is correct “Lue lisää”, only it does not show in the link. Also the GlotPress says that this term has been translated and the translation is in use https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/themes/oslo/fi/default?filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=106888. I know that I can manually change this text when editing the blog post in text format but it is not very handy doing this for each post.

  Hi marttsa,

  Thanks so much for reporting the issue with the Oslo and Lovecraft themes. There is a technical issue on our side, and I’ve notified our developer to take a look.

  Oslo translations are not deployed yet since the theme translation is only 48% completed at the moment. Deployment happens automatically once a day, only if the translations are approved at least 85% for each theme. You can add suggestions from the link below, and I can have the validator take a look to approve them.

  Thank you for your reply and looking into this. I now added suggestion to most of the untranslated texts for the Oslo theme.
