Translation of "Read more" doesn't work in "tdeditor" theme
-
We have tried to translate the wording “Read more” in the theme “TDEditor” using the inpage translation functionality , but it doesn’t work. We also tried the Glotpress project but it doesn’t work there either.
The same goes for translating “No upcoming events”Could you please assist.

Hi there,
The phrase “Read more” is part of the tdeditor theme, and I see that phrase was translated into Norwegian already. However, the tdeditor theme’s Norwegian translation is only 63% done. Until it’s at least 85% translated, the theme’s translations won’t be launched.
If you’d like, you can help the theme reach 85% by adding more translations to the project here:
http://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/themes/tdeditor/no/default
Once it reaches that minimum level of translation, the translations will be launched within about 24 hours. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi Rachel!
Thank you for responding.
Do you have any suggestions for how long time it will take before the translation reach the minimum level?
-
Hi there,
I’m checking with our team to see if we can get those new translations approved so the theme will reach the minimum level. We’ll let you know when we have an update about that. :)

Hi there,
Our Norwegian validator reviewed your translations, but the theme is still only 83% translated. We asked our validator if they can help translate the rest of the theme, but it may be faster if you can contribute more translations to the tdeditor project:

Hi there,
I was just told that the tdeditor theme is 100% translated into Norwegian now. :) That means the translated theme will be launched within 24 hours. If you have any trouble with it after that, please let me know!
-
Wow! I was just writing you back now!
Thank you so much for your help. Then we can proceed with the work to launch the site.
-
Hi again!
I am now trying to apply the translation function, but it is not working. Do you have any idea what the reason could be?
-
Can you give me a link to a page on your site where the correct translation isn’t showing up? That will help me investigate what is going on there.
-
Where I cant do the translation is under “No upcoming events”
-
That “No upcoming events” phrase actually comes from the WordPress.com translation project. You can add a translation for that here:
https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/no/default?filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=54080
You can also view the whole WordPress.com project and help translate it at this link:
https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/no/default
Those translations are for all of WordPress.com, separate from the tdEditor theme’s specific translations. (You can read our Translation FAQ for more details about the overall translation project if you’re curious.)

Hello again!
I want to redirect the old wordpress.org bloggsite to the new wordpress.com blog.
How can I do this?
-
Hi there,
Rachel is out for a few days so I’m taking a look at her tickets.
When you say you want to redirect your old WordPress.org site, do you mean you want to point your domain towards your WordPress.com site or are you looking to import your content?
If the former, you will need to add domain mapping for your domain to your WordPress.com site (you get a free mapping credit with your WordPress.com Premium, so it won’t cost you anything). You just log in to your Dashboard and go to Store >> My Domains and add the domain there under Mapping.
Once you do that, you will need to log in to your account with your domain registrar and change your nameservers there. The nameservers we use are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Once you make this change, it can take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate throughout the internet, at which point your site here will be live!
Now if you wanted to just import your content, that’s something else entirely. We have a help center article which walks you through the import process right here:
Let me know if you have any questions!
