    Hi, I just started my travelblog with the theme hemingway rewritten and I am really confused. Firstly: How can I put in a Google Translater or something that translates my posts for my non-german- speaking friend? I looked it up in the internet for several hours now- but I can’t find it.
    My second question is how I can put a video into a post. I am anyhow only able to upload images.
    And: Is there a possibility to put in a youtube video or a link in general? or a audiotape.
    and is it somehow possible to reduce the free space between two posts?
    I know that are a lot of questions but I am terrible with computers and stuff and I need help. thanks

    Unfortunately translation widgets don’t work on WordPress.com but there are ways around it. With the instructions of another volunteer, Timethief, I set up a translation page for my blog using Google Translate. You can see it here: http://wp.me/P2RCBA-Z7

    If you want to set up something like that, let me know and I’ll explain to you how to grab the code from my site and change it to enable German-other translation of your site (you’ll need to create that page using html, so it’s a bit technical but completely do-able).

    My second question is how I can put a video into a post.

    WordPress.com supports embedding videos from Youtube and several other platforms using shortcodes. See the support documents here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/

    To upload videos directly to your media library like you can do with images you need to buy the Videopress upgrade and possibly a space upgrade as well: http://support.wordpress.com/videopress/

    That is determined by your theme and the only way to override that is by adding custom CSS to your site, for which you’ll need the Custom Design upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
