translation widget
-
<a id=”ftwtranslation_button” style=”border:0;” href=”http://free-website-translation.com/”><img src=”http://free-website-translation.com/img/fwt_button_en.gif” alt=”Website Translation Widget” /></a>
It won’t stick in a text widget: when saved, becomes
<a id="”ftwtranslation_button”" href="//free-website-translation.com/”"><img src="//free-website-translation.com/img/fwt_button_en.gif”" alt="”Website" /></a>
and has no functionality.
Any help most welcome! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Margaretrosestringer,
You might want to try following Timethief’s Translation Widget advice/guide/whatever step-by-step:
http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/02/14/translation-widget-for-wordpress-com-blogs/
Good luck,

But that’s exactly where I got it from.
Lemme check again in case I’ve lost my marbles …

I see, oops, I am tired and I over-looked the fact that I think Timethief has an image in her sidebar that links to her Translation Page (http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/translation/) and I think that page uses code she mentions here but I could be wrong:
