Translator Wiget Does Not Work

    Hello people!

    I’m having a little problem: I want to insert the Google Translator Widget in the sidebar of my blog. I know hot to insert widgets, but when I do it in this case using text widget it changes the code and it doesn’t appear in the blog.

    Can someone help me?

    G’day. Yes we are aware that the Google translation widget will not work on wordpress.com blogs. The serachbox contents confirm this and they also provide a workaround provided by ismailimail that is in use on my blog. If you copy the code below and then replace “onecoolsitebloggingtips.com” with “cactuscultural.com”throughout the code and then copy and paste the code onto a static page you will get the same results you find on my Translation page.

    Well, that didn’t work. Happened the same thing I have described before, while I save the widget, the code changes and in the end only text with links appear in the blog.

    Does my theme doesn’t support a translation widget? I really don’t know.

    Hello again,
    Text links is what this code produces. copy and paste the code onto a static page using the HTML editor you will get the same results you find on my Translation page – 3 columns of text links. This is what’s available for wordpress.com bloggers. We cannot use the widget. See my page > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/translation/

    I don’t know if it can help but here is a widget text I have been given to put a british flag and when my visitors click they get the english translation of my french blog…. and it works. I hope that you will be able to copy this and change in the appropriate languages.
