Transparent Audio

  I’ve visited the Audio support site here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/, which was very helpful, but I can’t figure out one or two things. Regarding color customization for the audio shortcode player, is there a way to make everything to the right of the play button transparent? When I post it now, it looks fine when it’s expanded, but before it’s been played, the white background looks pretty garish against my brownish background. I tried messing around with the colors, but I’m fairly new at this, and I feel like I might be needlessly complicating things. Any help would be appreciated.

  The bgcolor option accepts hex color codes only, not other words. The right option would be transparentpagebg=yes, but the wp.com version of the player doesn’t support that.

  Way around the problem:
  [audio URL|initialvolume=100|animation=no]

  Or use the Soundcloud player instead.

  Or create a playlist in Mixpod and use one of the Mixpod players:
