transparent background for containers

Possible future implementation
Just wondering, would it be possible (don’t need to do it now), to have a large cutout portrait photo placed on the right side behind the content container on the following page
https://game-of-thrones-episodes.com/tag/cersei-lannister-7/?order=asc
In other words, is/can the content container have a transparent background?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Something like this?
.tag-cersei-lannister-7 .column-content { background: url('https://gameofthronesportal.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/jon-farewell-winterfell.jpg') no-repeat scroll center top / cover; padding: 20px; box-sizing: border-box; }I grabbed a random image from your media library.

mmmmmm, that definitely has some possibilities. It would be a lot easier to do it this way, that moving an image widget in place.
So here is what I have in mind.
take for instance your profile pic, I would cut out your face, and have it fill roughly the left third of the .column-content, and the height would only take up the space of the first two posts (Cersei’s lust for power and Euron makes an offer),
and is there a way to do this not using the column-content, so we can put the cut-out pic up higher even with the tag-title, and then extending down under the column-content?

A rough mockup would be helpful to better understand what you’d like to do. Feel free to provide that if you decide to go ahead, as it might take a while to put together the CSS for you. Thanks!
