  Yes, in principle staff can transfer followers. However http://alessandromazzi.org doesn’t seem to be working!

  I don’t know if you get that with .org sites, I think it might be WordPress.com only.

  http://western-hindu.org/ is a WordPress.com site using domain mapping so that it has a custom domain rather than a something.wordpress.com domain.

  You can tell WordPress.com sites because:

  1. They usually say “Blog at WordPress.com” at the bottom.
  2. If you look at image URLs they are under worpress.com, eg http://westernhindu.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/temple-aniversary.jpeg
