Trash folder
-
I can’t find a post I’d scheduled for this morning. I think I must have accidentally put it in trash but I also can’t find the trash folder! The article about trash says it’s in ‘posts’, but there’s no sign of it there. Is there any hope of finding the post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. The ‘Trash’ folder the support doc talks about is on the classic dashboard, not the My Sites page. Your classic dashboard is here: http://awkwardirishgirlblogs.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ Go to that link and click on Posts ->All Posts. The link for the trash folder will be at the top of that page.

Yes, this is the page I’ve been going on and there is no link for the trash folder there. There’s just ‘all’, ‘published’ and ‘draft’.

Ok so I’ve managed to find the trash folder in the older layout… And my post isn’t there! WordPress ate my post? It’s not in trash or drafts or published. Where did it go? :(

Did you create the post in the new Beep Beep Boop editor or in the classic editor? If you used the new editor I’m sorry to say there’s a chance it’s gone as the new editor sometimes doesn’t save drafts correctly.
If the post doesn’t appear in trash and it doesn’t appear under Posts ->All Posts I’m afraid there’s no way to get it back.
