    Hey warneyswhip,

    To change the font color of the title of the website, you have to target this CSS class.

    .header.masthead h1.logo, header.masthead h1.logo a, header.masthead h1.logo a:hover, header.masthead h2.description{
    color: red;
    }

    please replace “red” with the color you want.
    Using this, you can change the color, font-family, font-size etc.

    I forgot to mention that you can change the font-family of the title from your WordPress dashboard.

    And to change the font color of the social menu items, you can use this code.

    .masthead .menu a{
    color: yellow;
    font-size: 25px;
    }

    Please replace “yellow” and “25px” according to your requirements.

    Hope that helps.

    ok what if i want the totle font to be the same plum colour as I choose for the pallete? how do I find out what that colour is called?

    and want to make the social media headings bold and bigger, but same colour sorry

    You have to use the color detectors. Install Colorzilla in your browser and you can pick any color from any website.

    To make it bigger, increase the font-size as I have mentioned 25px in the code. You can choose a bigger value either for the social media menu items or the title.

    To make it bold, you can add font-weight. Please search a little bit about it on Google and you will get all the answers.

    ok sorry, what is the code for the title tagline…and the heading it worked and now it doesn’t lol

    For setting/changing the site tile and tagline/site description font size, this would be the code you would need.

    .home.traveler_header_height_3 h1.logo, .traveler_header_height_3 h1.logo, .home.traveler_header_height_1 h1.logo {
      font-size: 3.2em;
    }
    h2.description {
      font-size: 0.8rem
    }

    thanks mate, also making the header static instead of dynamic so that the picture doesn’t stretch and lose quality on wider screens…is this possible?

    Hi @warneyswhip!

    thanks mate, also making the header static instead of dynamic so that the picture doesn’t stretch and lose quality on wider screens…is this possible?

    It seems that this has already been answer on the other thread that you posted: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/header-static?replies=2#post-3084451

    Please post on that thread if that worked for you or for any follow up.

    Hope this helps!

  • I’m going to mark this one resolved. Take care, folks.
