Hi there,
I hope you are following this documentation to import files to WordPress.com
http://www.travelpod.com/blog/2017/05/15/wordpress-import-intructions/Also, check if you have unzipped your files before importing.
If you still get the same error, try solution given in this earlier forum thread. It might be helpful.

Thank you for your replies. I haven’t tried any of your solutions yet because I thought I’d worked it out. Then it finished uploading and I got this message.
<html> <head><title>413 Request Entity Too Large</title></head> <body bgcolor=”white”> <center><h1>413 Request Entity Too Large</h1></center> <hr><center>nginx</center> </body> </html>
Try another file or contact support. -

@planetgelistravelblog Try the suggestions that both of us linked to. If you still are having trouble with this after that, we’ll tag this for Staff assistance.

OK right now I’m importing one at a time. This seems like an awfully long process, particularly not looking forward to the photos (presuming this works this time). But again, thanks for your help.

OK this seems to be working, albeit excruciatingly slowly. However, I have another problem. All my posts are appearing in reverse order. Any solutions? Thank you once more. I’m now on blog 3 of 4 by the way.

I see that you’ve opened a new thread here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/uploading-images-64?replies=4#post-2955077 now that the import has finished. I’ll go ahead and close this thread so that we can keep all the discussion on one thread.
