trema/umlaut in tag

  I typed a tréma over the final e of Bronte and added this to the tags, but the tréma was converted to a circumflex. Tried copying and pasting, tried adding the special character. This accent worked fine in the actual post, it’s only in the tags that it plays up. Help!
