TrendMicro malicious classification?
-
Just this morning, my Facebook followers alerted me that TrendMicro has classified my WordPress-hosted blog as dangerous / containing malicious content.
When I investigated TrendMicro’s site, it looks like anyone can report a site as malicious without proof. Meanwhile the classification report on my site varies depending on which area of the TrendMicro website I look at… in one area I’ve been classified in the same category as porn / nudity / illegal drugs and weapons. In another area it said my site contained malicious code. In a third area, it said my site contained “Spam; Disease Vector.”
I’ve filed a reclassification request; do any of you have any advice that you can offer?
Thanks kindly in advance,

I’m sorry but the only advice I can provide is to contact Trend Micro. You can use this checker to see what’s causing this http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm

So when I link to an article on Slate.com or WashingtonPost.com or HuffingtonPost.com… who is editing that anchor text? I can promise you it’s not me! :-)

I did… and I was only asking in case you had some idea… since I’m without a clue. :-) Thanks much.
