  I have a website with atlas myob and I am wanting to change to wordpress but I would like to play around with making a site for a little while before transferring my domain name – can I start making a site then point my domain name at it later?

  You can build your new site here and then wait to connect the domain until everything is ready to go.

  You can get a free site and the free features with a .wordpress.com subdomain. Use a temporary name for your site as an example: sitename.wordpress.com

  Keep the new site private as to not affect any SEO.
