  Hi there – would it be possible to get a trial for a couple weeks of the Premium plan? Need to assess to see if it’s right for us. Also wondering if I can do my own HTML/CSS from scratch.

  There is no trial but each paid plan has a 30 day refund period just in case it’s not right for you. Just be aware that the refund period is only 48 hours for domain name registration – if you register a domain and cancel the plan after 48 hours your refund won’t include the cost of the domain name.

  You can customise CSS on the premium plan, either just tweaking one of the existing themes all the way through to disabling the default theme styles and starting from scratch using just the underlying HTML. It doesn’t allow you do edit HTML any more than the free them though and none of the plans allow you to modify the PHP in the theme files so you’ll still need to pick a theme with the structure and features that you want to work with.
