I want to test the Video Press function to host my videos and then Iframe them on a site. Can I have a trial of this function before upgrading to see if it is suitable for my needs?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, VideoPress is exclusive to the Premium and Business Plans, and using iFrame on your site can only be done if you have the Business Plan.

However, should you purchase any paid plan and cancel it within thirty days, you will receive a full refund. You can treat this similar to a free trial.

Note: You only have 48 hours to cancel a domain if you wish for a refund, so I wouldn’t recommend transferring your domain until you’re certain you wish to be with WordPress.com.

Thanks for your response, my site isn’t hosted through WordPress. I just want to use WordPress to store the content that I put into an iframe, do you know if this can be done on the premium plan?

    Hi stumellor,

I just want to use WordPress to store the content that I put into an iframe

The Share button on the VideoPress video player provides iframe code which can be used for embedding on sites hosted elsewhere. You can see an example of this on our VideoPress documentation:

It’s worth noting that we don’t have any control over how that iframe will work on your other site. The Premium plan also has a set amount of storage space so if you intend to upload a large number of videos, you may need to consider upgrading to the Business plan (which has unlimited storage space).
